Noroff fagskole: T2 - Interior Scene

This week at Noroff, we are unwrapping the UV's of all the objects in the interior scene, then texturing it.

Time-budget

Work

I unwrapped every object in the scene, except for the water container. The reason, i used procedural texturing for this.
The pictures below are all the different UV's for the objects, unwrapped.

The picture below is my mood board. It's a general idea of how i wanted the entire scene to look.
Down at the left bottom is the room, with some furniture. Right of that, is the texture for the exterior of the "house". On the top, is the wallpaper i decided to use for the interior of the house.

I used all of these reference images and more to create textures for my objects.

For the cupboards and the projector, i also made specular maps, showing what is shiny and what isn't.

As for the water container/bottle, i used procedural texturing.

I made it transparent and plastic-like.

Here are some screengrabs of the textured scene.

Finished Product

Using the same cameras as in last weeks asignment, these are my renders. Two checkered versions, and two textured versions.

Render settings:

- 1920x1080
- Vray Render

I haven't learned as much this week as last texturing lesson, but this weeks assignment went a lot faster, simply because i have learned how to do it quicker, and more effectively.
Further note, procedural texturing is quite interesting and a lot easier than texturing using photoshop.
